Cheryl Foster passed away on March 7,2024 at Summit Pacific Hospital in Elma, Washington at the age of 75.

Cheryl Foster passed away on March 7, 2024 at Summit Pacific Hospital in Elma, Washington at the age of 75. Cheryl was born to Ben (Bennie) and Betty Ator on October 24, 1948, in McCleary, Washington. At the time of her passing, she was surrounded by family and friends that loved her very much.

Cheryl retired from the Washington State Liquor Control Board after 20+ years of service. She had previously been employed by the CAPP Office and DSHS.

Cheryl was preceded in death by husband Jess, daughter Betty Anderson, brother Bennie Ator and brother Francis “Bud” Ator.

She is survived by brother Rodney Ator (Sandy) sister-in-law Pamela “Ator” Ostergard (Gill), sons Michael Morrow ( fiancé Vicky), Jess “Butch” Foster (Karla), Mark Foster (Teresa) and Jeff Foster (Cheryl), daughter Shelley French (Allan). She is also survived by many grandkids and great-grandkids.

Cheryl will be remembered for her loving nature and always trying to take care of everyone, long time member of the Elma Eagles, the strength for battling cancer for over 10 years and her beautiful quilts. She loved playing bingo and going to the casinos. She and Jess loved camping and sitting by the fire.

Services will be April 19, at 11 a.m. at St. Joseph’s Catholic Cemetery on Newman Creek Road, followed by a memorial gathering at Elma Eagles 1440, 404 W. Young St.
