Charlotte Baker, 87, passed away peacefully on Monday, Oct. 23, 2017, at Providence St. Peter Hospital in Olympia.

Charlotte Baker, 87, passed away peacefully on Monday, Oct. 23, 2017, at Providence St. Peter Hospital in Olympia. Charlotte was born in Boyceville, Wis., to Guy and Mayme Bonner.

She moved to the Grays Harbor area of Washington where she met and married John H. Baker in 1952. Charlotte was the caregiver of the family. She took care of her husband, children and father-in-law. She was also a retail clerk and pharmacy assistant. She lost her husband of 27 years in 1979. She enjoyed spending time with family and friends and keeping a lovely home. She was a member of Our Lady of Good Help Church in Hoquiam.

Charlotte is survived by her son, John C. Baker (Julie) and her daughter, Anne Schroeder (Daniel). She also has one beloved granddaughter, Kim Schroeder. She is preceded in death by her husband, John, her sisters, Norma Goff, Jean Tuttle, and her brothers Dan and Russ Bonner.

A celebration of life will be held on Nov. 3, 2017, at 1:30 p.m. at Our Lady of Good Help Church in Hoquiam. A reception will follow in the parish lounge.

The family suggests memorials may be to your favorite charity.
