Charles Edward Hubbard of Hoquiam passed away Wednesday, Nov. 21, 2018, at Pacific Care and Rehabilitation. He was 84. Charles was born in McRoberts, Ky., on Nov. 27, 1933, to Charles and Hazel (Hamer) Hubbard. The family later relocated to Raymond in 1956.

Charles was a retired United States Marine who loved garage sales and working on cars. After the military he bought a home in Hoquiam and went to work for Lamb Grays Harbor for 20+ years.

Charles is survived by his children Susan (Hubbard) Parnell of Olympia, Jerry Hubbard, Robert Hubbard both of Aberdeen, and seven grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife Doris (Lockman) Hubbard and brothers Robert and John Hubbard.
