Charles “Chuck” Thomas Welsh passed away peacefully in Aberdeen, Washington on Aug. 6, 2022, at the age of 82. He was born in Idaho to Allen and Anna Mae (Coburn) Welsh on Jan. 12, 1940. He is survived by his children Danny, Kelly, Kimi (Jay), Kerri (Scott), 12 grandchildren, numerous great-grandchildren, and sister Joni Robinson (Gary).

He worked and was in the upholstery business his entire life. He was an expert and performed his craft at the behest of many thousands of happy customers. Chuck became sober in the early 1980s and spent the last half of his life gratefully affiliated with Alcoholics Anonymous — a choice that brought many wonderful dividends to his family. He loved boxing, was an avid golfer most of his life, and loved to hear and tell a good joke! A very smart person, who could figure out and fix almost anything. He will be greatly missed by all.

A celebration of life and potluck will be held from noon to 5 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 13, at Alano Club, 823 W. Heron St. in Aberdeen.
