Charles (Chuck) Edward Hubbard was born Nov. 27, 1933, and passed away Nov. 21, 2018. Charles was born in McRoberts, Kentucky to Charles and Hazel (Hamer) Hubbard. The family later relocated to Raymond.
Charles was a United States Marine and after serving in the military he bought a home in Aberdeen and went to work at Lambs for 20+ years. He then went back to college and took automotive and welding classes then took a job working for Neighborhood Housing as a grounds keeper. He was a jack of all trades.
Charles loved guns, counting money, vanilla ice cream, Izzy’s, garage sales, sales in general, playing cards, the senior center, mowing the lawn, working on cars, growing garlic, berries and apples and all of his friends and family.
He will be greatly missed. Friends and family meant the world to him. Sherry, Denise and Kevin will always have a special place in their hearts for Chuck.
Charles is survived by children Susan (Hubbard) Parnell of Olympia, Jerry Hubbard, Robert Hubbard, both of Aberdeen and seven grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife Doris (Lockman) Hubbard and brothers Robert and John Hubbard.
A potluck/birthday celebration of life will be held at 1 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 17, at Harbor Calvary Chapel, 108 South K St. in Aberdeen, (360)532-4419. All are welcome to attend.
