Charlene Lucile (Blanchard) Kullander passed away peacefully at Summit Pacific Medical Center on Monday, May 17, 2021, surrounded by her loving family. Charlene, known to most as Granny, worked as a cook at Walt’s Broiler, the Bee Hive restaurant, the Nordic Inn and Oaksridge. She continued to work several years and finally retired while at Pay N Save.
Granny enjoyed reading, going places with Papa and loved being around her grandkids.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 61 years Gus, son Bruce, grandson Rodney, brothers Bill, Warren and Ed; and sisters Maxine, Lenore and Barbara.
Charlene is survived by her son Chuck (Betty) Kullander, daughters Norene (Steve) Alexander and Connie, along with several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
A celebration of life will take place later.
