Catherine “Cathy” B. Earley, 63, our beloved mom, sister, aunt, Nama and friend, passed away unexpectedly but peacefully on Tuesday, May 23, 2023.

Catherine “Cathy” B. Earley, 63, our beloved mom, sister, aunt, Nama and friend, passed away unexpectedly but peacefully on Tuesday, May 23, 2023, with loved ones by her side.

She was born Feb. 6, 1960, in Everett, Washington to William S. Peckham and Darlene R. Tewault.

In 1990, she met her soulmate, John A. Earley III, and they married July 20, 2002, in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Cathy enjoyed spending time with John collecting agates along Oregon beaches, playing pool (Aberdeen

Pool league and BCA league out of Olympia), visiting casinos and spending time with family at Lake Chelan. She was also an avid quilter.

Cathy earned an Associates degree in Horticulture in 2000 from South Puget Sound Community College. She enjoyed beautifying her own yard and made several lifelong friends through her landscaping business over the years. Cathy also provided office support to her mom’s business at Awareness Counseling in Centralia.

She is preceded in death by her parents, husband John Earley, daughter Sherry Lynn, two nephews and two grandchildren: Alexis Harper and Quinlan Honeycutt.

Cathy is survived by her daughter, Shalina (Dustin) Stevens of Aberdeen, Washington; son, Jonathan Harper of Hoquiam, Washington; daughter, Angie (Scott) McDonald of Glenoma, Washington; daughter, Jennifer (Nels) Honeycutt of Griffin, Georgia; son, Ron (Cindy Englund) Harper of Satsop, Washington; sister, Terry (Lenard) Dorning of Grand Coulee, Washington; brother, Steve (Kitty) Peckham of Port Angeles, Washington; brother, Robbie (Lisa) Peckham of Anchorage, Alaska; sister, Lorie (Brad) Grasmick of Chehalis, Washington; brother, Tim Peckham of Winlock, Washington; along with 12 grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.

A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, June 10, 2023, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. located at the Cosi Lion’s Club, 601 2 nd St. Cosmopolis, Washington. Attendees are encouraged to a bring a potluck dish.

Cremation arrangements have been made entrusted to Twibell’s Fern Hill Funeral Home in Aberdeen, Washington.
