Carol Sue (Spencer) Scott passed away Aug. 25, 2022, in Silverdale, Washington after a brief illness.

Carol Sue (Spencer) Scott passed away Aug. 25, 2022, at St. Michael’s Medical Center in Silverdale, Washington after a brief illness. She was born in Aberdeen on Nov. 12, 1943, to Eldon “Skinny” and Wilda (Perry) Spencer. She graduated from Aberdeen High School in 1961 and attended Grays Harbor College.

She married David Scott on Jan. 26, 1963. Carol was a homemaker and was always busy with her many talents. She was a brilliant seamstress, who was always willing whether it was to sew on a button for her children’s friends or design a formal dress. She was a talented painter and could do the most beautiful stained glass. She was a skilled gardener, always having beautiful flowers, and she loved to watch the birds they would attract.

Carol was so kind to everyone, people and animals. She was a devoted wife, mother and “mimi.” She never missed an event for her children or grandchildren.

In 2012 she and David moved to Hansville, Washington to be closer to their grandchildren. Carol is survived by her husband David, sister Nadine Petrich, son Daniel Scott and his wife Lori, daughter Wendy Grant and her husband Michael, grandchildren Laney and Sean Grant, sister-in-law Judy Thomsen and her husband Halvard, sister-in-law Jane Wareing and her husband David, and many nieces and nephews.
