Retired Hoquiam City Councilman and Weyerhaeuser employee Byron Edward Hyde Sr. peacefully passed away Tuesday, Oct. 2, 2018, at Grays Harbor Health and Rehabilitation Center. He was 87.

A viewing will be held from 11 a.m. – 3 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 5, 2018, in the chapel of Harrison Family Mortuary, 311 W. Market Street, Aberdeen. A celebration of his life will be planned for a later date.
