Bonnie Jean McCarthy, 36 years of age and a resident of Hoquiam for the past 18 years, died on Monday, Dec. 26, 2016, at her home following an extended illness.

Bonnie Jean McCarthy, 36 years of age and a resident of Hoquiam for the past 18 years, died on Monday, Dec. 26, 2016, at her home following an extended illness. Bonnie Jean was born on Feb. 20, 1980, in Fairbanks, Alaska.

She graduated from the regional catholic school, Immaculate Conception Elementary School in Mount Vernon, Wash., in 1994. She came to Hoquiam with her mother in 1998, where she had since resided. She attended the Catholic Church in the area she resided.

Bonnie Jean McCarthy is survived by her mother, Maureen P. McCarthy of the Hoquiam family home; her aunts, sister Angela McCarthy of Hoquiam and Anna Marner of Ireland and other relatives.

The recitation of the Rosary will be held at 11:30 am, Friday, Dec. 30, 2016, at the Our Lady of Good Help Catholic Church.

The Funeral Mass will be celebrated at noon on Friday, Dec. 30, 2016, at the Our Lady of Good Help Catholic Church, 200 L Street in Hoquiam.

Interment will be held later at the Holy Rood Cemetery in Shoreline, Wash.

Direction is by the Coleman Mortuary, 422 – 5th Street in Hoquiam. Wash.
