Billy D. Brown, age 59, of Hoquiam passed away Monday, June 13. Bill was born Sept. 13, 1962 in Aberdeen, Washington and attended Aberdeen Weatherwax High School.

As a young man Bill developed a passion for restoring his 1952 Chevy pickup. This passion carried on with Bill into his later years while building his 1950 Chevy pickup. Bill loved to tell stories and relive old times with his friends and never missed an opportunity to enjoy reminiscing with his animated story telling.

Bill was predeceased in death by his parents Larry and Gladys Brown of Aberdeen, both his brothers, Buck Nichols and Bruce Brown of Humptulips, and his sister Betty Nichols of Aberdeen.

Bill is survived by three sisters: Brenda Vakarro, Bonnie Jamieson and Barbara Orozco. He also left behind a stepdaughter, Britney Workman, and her children: Haley, Serenity, Paton and Mariya.

An open memorial service is scheduled for Sunday, June 26, from 3 to 6 p.m. at Hoquiam Grand Central Hall. We welcome those who would like to come share a story.
