Beverly Joan Niemi of Montesano passed away Friday, Dec. 23, 2016 at Grays Harbor Community Hospital. She was 81. Beverly was born Nov. 29, 1935 to Joesph and Goldi (Haney) Madison in Durand Township, Beltrami County, Minn. The family later relocated to the Satsop/Elma area where she grew up and went to Elma School.

Beverly was employed as a private caregiver at Oakhurst Nursing Home and did some bartending.

Beverly enjoyed dancing, playing cards, cooking, canning, and bingo. In her down time she enjoyed watching The Young and The Restless. But most of all she loved spending time with her family.

Beverly is survived by her sons Alan and Ricky Sutherby; daughters Rebecca (Danny) VanOrman, Donna (Dennis) Clark, Kathy (Steven) Groat, and Brenda Niemi; sister Lynn Mast; and brothers Bernard, Roger and Randy Madison; along with 20 grandchildren, 48 great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents Joesph and Goldie Madison.
