Betty Gene Heath was born in Spokane, Washington on April 10 1928. She passed away peacefully in her sleep on Jan. 4, 2022.
Her goal was to live to be 100 years old and she came very close to achieving that goal!
She was a permanent resident and advocate of Grays Harbor, living in Ocean Shores working locally. She was employed for countless years as a bookkeeper at The Inn at Ocean Shores and Alec’s By the Sea. She called them her second home.
Betty truly enjoyed being ingrained into her community and treasured all her friends from church, O.S.C.C. and work. She possessed a strong will for life and a work ethic of devotion. She was blessed with a large family that she held very dear to her heart.
She was a mother, wife, grandmother, great-grandma and friend to many, and sister to one.
She leaves behind four of her six children, 13 grandchildren, 10 great-grandkids and one younger sister.
The following will be welcoming her into heaven: daughter Vicky Weller, son Tracy Heath, husband Donald Heath, first husband Milton House, and of course her parents Gene and Irene Swenson.
We will be celebrating “The Life of Betty Gene Heath” on April 9, 2022, at the Ocean Shores Galilean Lutheran Church, 814 Ocean Shores Blvd. NW, Ocean Shores, at 2 p.m. followed by a reception and the family spreading of ashes.
