Betty Belles, 98, a native of Aberdeen, died peacefully on Jan. 29, 2025. She was born on Dec. 10, 1926 and was a lifelong resident of Grays Harbor.

Betty graduated from Grays Harbor Community College as an L.P.N. in 1966 and worked for many years at Grays Harbor Community Hospital. She truly loved her job!

She was an avid devotee of Weight Watchers and looked forward to the weekly meetings.

She was also very interested in the civic affairs in Aberdeen. She could always be found at the city council meetings on Wednesday evenings.

She was predeceased in 2010 by Frank, her husband of 64 years.

She is survived by a son, Gary, of Yakima; a daughter Ruth and her husband Paul Wilson of Bellingham; 5 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren.

A graveside service was held Feb. 5 at Fern Hill Cemetery.
