Beloved Father and Grandfather, Arthur Lee Everson, 90, passed away early Nov. 13, 2018.

Arthur was born on July 16, 1928, in Elma, Wash., to Ernest and Eva Everson. Arthur grew up in Porter, Wash., where he met the love of his life Helen Gonzales. Arthur married Helen on Sept. 13, 1948. They celebrated 61 years of marriage prior to her passing in 2009. Together, Arthur and Helen raised seven children in Elma, Wash.

Arthur spent his days working in the logging industry. He loved working outdoors, working in his shop, fixing up things around the home and, most of all, spending time with his family.

Arthur is survived by daughter and son-in-law Judy (Phillip) Moore, son and daughter-in-law John (Roxanne) Everson, son David Everson, daughter Deborah Brogan, son Stephen Everson, son and daughter-in-law Rodney (Lisa) Everson and son and daughter-in-law Gary (Cathy) Everson; 13 grandchildren Michael (Katy) Moore, Monique (Jen Albright) Moore, Michelle (Brent) Schiller, Lisa (Ken Perreira) MacMillan, Kerry Everson, Monica Rohrscheib, Travis, Nicholas and Joshua Everson, Tyler (Susie) Everson, Garrett, Alex and Cody Everson; 10 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild and one brother and sister-in-law, Duaine (Lorraine) Everson.

Arthur is preceded in death by his wife Helen Everson (Gonzales), brother Ernest (“Junior”) Everson and his parents. No service will be held per Arthur’s wishes.
