April (Glazier) Guida of Aberdeen, Washington passed away at Virginia Mason Hospital in Seattle on June 6, 2024, at the age of 63.
April was born on April 4, 1961, in Gold Beach, Oregon to June (Gardner) and Elmer Glazier. She was the youngest of 9 siblings.
She mostly grew up in Quinault, Washington but graduated in 1979 from Battle Ground High School. She met and married Ted Guida in Vancouver.
Their only child Ryland Guida was born September 25,1984. April was part owner of The Coffee Cup Cafe in South Bend in the ‘90s. She lived and worked in Ocean Shores, Washington for over 30 years. She retired from working in the cafeteria for the North Beach School District. April enjoyed picking huckleberries, blackberries and working at the Ocean Shores clothing bank.
She leaves behind her son Ryland and his wife Iris of Medford, Oregon; brother Terry Glazier of Ocean Shores, Washington; sisters: Trudi Glazier of Raymond, Washington; Bonny Trotter of Long Beach, Washington and Jackie (Sunday) (Chuck) Gurr of Raymond, Washington; sister-in-law Rosslynn Glazier of Port Angles, Washington; her best friend Annie Guadagnola and many friends.
She was proceeded in death by her parents, brothers Mitchell Glazier, Gene Loftis, Bruce Glazier and her sister Susan Glazier.
There will be a graveside service at the Menlo Cemetery, Menlo, Washington on Saturday June 29, 2024, at 1 p.m. Reception to follow at the Raymond Elks Lodge.
