Antonia “Toni” Lee Burtch, age 84, a longtime resident of Aberdeen, died on July 16, 2022, at Pacific Care Center in Hoquiam. Mrs. Burtch was born on Dec. 1, 1937, in Richmond, California to George and Louise Mae (Conner) Morgan.
As an infant, she came to the Harbor where she was raised by her grandparents, James F. and Antonia Clara Venier Conner. She had been married to Earl Burtch. The couple loved to travel but especially loved being in the tropics.
She enjoyed making ceramics and was an avid animal lover. She would regularly donate to most any association involved with animal rescue.
Surviving relatives include a daughter, Julie (Glen) Loomis of the Wishkah Valley; a son, James Lee Burtch of Aberdeen; two grandchildren, Shannon Elizabeth (Trent) Moore and Ryan James Loomis; three great-grandchildren, Emma Jean Loomis, Gavin Grady Moore and Landon James Moore. In addition to her husband Earl, Toni was preceded by a grandson, Anson Hathaway.
An interment service will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, July 26, 2022, at Hoquiam’s Sunset Memorial Park.
