Anna K. Burgher-Ring was called to her heavenly home on May 27, 2025.
Anna was born Jan. 18, 1941, to Willie K. Goode and Johanna Virgilia (Bennicuff) Goode in San Francisco, California.
Anna grew up mostly in the North Beach District of San Francisco and enjoyed playing at Fisherman’s Wharf & Aquatic Park. She graduated from Capuchino High School in Milbrae, California in 1958 and went to work two weeks later at 20th Century Fox Film Corporation as a secretary.
She met and married Lawrence (Larry) Burgher Sr. in 1959 and was happily married to him for 42 years until his death in January 2002.
She married Don Ring Sr. in 2005. He passed away in 2020.
Anna was mostly a homemaker, raising their 5 children (the best times of her life) but worked and leased Peggy’s Pantry in Copalis Crossing in the 1980s. In 1992 she went to work for the North Beach School District as a para-professional then special education secretary and ultimately secretary at Pacific Beach Elementary School. She retired in 2014 then went back as a substitute para-professional until 2018.
She was Treasurer for the North Beach Public School Employees Union, Secretary to the Copalis Crossing Fire District #16 Commissioners, active at Copalis Community Church where she taught Sunday School, and was also a member and board member at the Copalis Crossing Assembly of God church.
Anna was preceded in death by her parents, her infant brother Willie Keith Jr, sisters Mary Gardner, Karin Marson, and brother Bill Goode.
Left to mourn her loss are her children: Matt (Wendy) of Lacey, Larry Jr. (Lynette) of Hoquiam, Cindy (Mike) of Copalis Beach, Dan (Teresa) of Malone, and Jayson (Jessica) of Elma. 17 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren whom she adored.
She is also survived by her sisters Nancy Vogee, Donna Lang, and Emily Dixon as well as many nieces and nephews.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday June 21, 2025 at 2 p.m. at Immanuel Baptist Church in Hoquiam.
