Andrea Leanne Robinson, 38 years of age, and a lifetime Taholah, Wash. resident, died on Friday, Aug. 25, 2017, at her home in Taholah.

Andrea Leanne Robinson, 38 years of age, and a lifetime Taholah, Wash., resident, died on Friday, Aug. 25, 2017, at her home in Taholah. She was born on May 6, 1979, in Aberdeen, Wash., to Lester Dan and Darlene (Robinson) Dan. She was an enrolled member of the Quinault Indian Nation.

She was raised and attended school in Taholah, graduated from Taholah High School. Following her high school education she worked as a day care teacher for the Quinault Indian Nation from 1997 to 2010 and she was then a custodian for the Quinault Indian Nation from 2010 until 2016.

She attended the Pentecostal Church and participated in the Tribal Journeys and Cultural Jams for numerous years.

Her survivors include, her father, Lester Dan of Moclips; her daughter, Lahala Fawn Robinson of Taholah; her sisters, Rose Mary Robinson, Leona Dan, Julie Robinson and Donna Comenout all of Taholah; her brothers, William Comenout of Taholah, Shannon Comenout Jr. of Grand Mound and Bradley Revay of Yakima; her uncles, Norman Robinson and Ralph Krise both of Taholah, numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives.

Her mother, Darlene Dan died in 2014 and a sister, Victoria Lynn Robinson died in 2015.

A funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 31, 2017, at the Taholah Educational Center Gymnasium with Tandy Charley, officiating. Concluding services and interment will follow in the Sunset Memorial Park in Hoquiam.

A dinner for family and friends will then follow at the Taholah Community Center.
