Allen Waters

Aberdeen resident Allen E. Waters died Sunday, Aug. 9, 2020, at home. He was 78.

He taught history at Tillicum Junior High School and then at Bellevue High. He and his wife, Joan, operated the Aberdeen Mansion, a bed and breakfast, for 12 years.

Memorials are suggested to the Aberdeen Lions Club, P.O. Box 111, Aberdeen WA 98520.

Marie T. Mickelson

NEILTON — Marie Therese Mickelson, a longtime Neilton area resident, died Monday, Aug. 10, 2020, at home. She was 83.

She worked with her husband at Mickelson Logging as administrative assistant, as an orchardist, receptionist and waitress.

A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 2 p.m. Monday, Aug. 17, at Our Lady of the Olympics at Amanda Park. Concluding service and interment will follow in the Quinault Cemetery.
