Allen Curtis Daniel passed peacefully in the company and nearby presence of his dedicated providers at Confluence Hospital in Wenatchee, Washington and devoted family after good spiritedly and optimistically suffering the indignities of myriad medical issues for too many years.
Stubborn and playful, he was loved and admired by those who knew him for his unending good humor, quick wit, charm and quality of his friendship.
“Curtis” or “AC” was raised in Hoquiam, Washington and went on to become a decorated sergeant for heroism and diligence in the U.S. Marine Corps. Subsequently, he enjoyed a successful and repeatedly lauded career as a helicopter mechanic for various companies with which he contracted.
He was pre-deceased by his parents, William and Anne, brother-in-law Nicolaos Epiotis and beloved friend, Margaret. He is survived by his brother Ronald, sister-in-law Sandi and sister Linda.
A memorial service will be at 1 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 15, with full military honors at Tahoma National Cemetery in Kent, Washington.
