Agnes Richardson was born Aug. 21, 1932, in Forest Grove, Oregon.

She had eight siblings. All have gone to be with the Lord except for her oldest sister Virginia Heynderickx who is 101.

Agnes always had a house full in her tiny one bedroom home every year at Christmas time.

She enjoyed going to bingo where she met the love of her life “Joe Chavez.”

She also enjoyed the casino, needlepoint, reading and her many grandchildren. As long as she was able, when a baby was born she was there to help. When someone needed sewing done they brought it to Grandma.

She made the journey to heaven peacefully in her home Dec. 3, 2022.

One daughterRoberta Kover, a grandson Shawne Graham and a granddaughter Angela Pedersen were in heaven to meet her at the gate, as well as her parents William and Louise Vanderzanden and many siblings.

She is survived by her daughters Carol Graham, Debbie Upward, Nancy Daugherty and a son Randy Upward.
