As Westport Marina dredging continues, impacts for boaters on eight floats will be “more significant than originally anticipated,” according to marina business manager Molly Bold.

Boaters on floats 4, 6, 8, 10, 12, 14, 16 and 20 will be required to move vessels during dredge activity, said Bold.

Dredging at Float 20, impacting all slips, was expected to begin Sept. 25, with an estimated completion date of Oct. 2. Dredging at floats 7 and 9 is scheduled to begin Sept. 30, with expected completion Oct. 4. The dredging activity at floats 15 and 17 was expected to wrap up today.
