Two injured in SR 105 crash near Bonge Avenue

A 42-year-old Westport man and a 33-year-old Westport woman were injured in a one-car crash on State Route 105 near West Bonge Avenue early Friday morning.

The man was driving northbound shortly after midnight when the vehicle crossed the center line, rotated and slid broadside before striking a tree and stump on the southbound shoulder, according to the State Patrol.

The State Patrol cited the cause of the crash as driving under the influence. The nature and extent of the occupants’ injuries were not disclosed. Both were taken to Grays Harbor Community Hospital.
