Two arrested on allegation involving sex with a dog

A tip about internet videos showing sexual acts with a dog led Grays Harbor County Sheriff’s Office investigators to two people in Westport Wednesday who were arrested on suspicion of animal cruelty, according to Chief Criminal Deputy Brad Johansson.

An individual from outside the county contacted the Sheriff’s Office to report the videos. An investigation revealed the identity of the female allegedly involved with the videos and they were able to get a search warrant for a residence in the 1700 block of Olympia Street, said Johansson.

As a result of the search deputies arrested a 29-year-old female and 29-year-old male for animal cruelty, said Johansson.

“At this time it does not appear that the canine was injured during the incident,” said Johansson. “The charge is related to sex acts with an animal. The specific details of the video are not being released at this time as the investigation is ongoing.”
