Tom Quigg takes his seat on the Port Commission

Tom Quigg was sworn in Tuesday to a seat on the Port of Grays Harbor Commission.

Tom Quigg was sworn in Tuesday to the Port of Grays Harbor Commission. He takes the District 2 seat that had been held by Jack Thompson, who died in October.

Quigg was selected by Commissioners Stan Pinnick and Phil Papac last month.

“Tom Quigg, a lifelong resident of Grays Harbor, brings a solid background in both marine construction and real estate, both commercial and industrial,” said a press release from the port.

“Although he sold his interest in Windermere Grays Harbor in 2016, he continues as an active Commercial/Industrial real estate broker with Windermere Real Estate in Aberdeen,” the release states. “Mr. Quigg also has an extensive history of involvement throughout the Grays Harbor community including being a founding member of the Grays Harbor Shipping Club and a board member of the Grays Harbor Community Foundation. He lives in Aberdeen with his fiancée, Pat. Together they have five grown children.”

“It is an honor to be a part of the Port team and look forward to working to fulfill Jack Thompson’s legacy of making Grays Harbor a better place to live, work and do business,” said Quigg.
