Three-car crash at Hogans Corner injures two Sunday

Two people were injured in a three-car crash at Hogans Corner north of Ocean Shores at about 10:30 a.m. Sunday.

According to a Washington State Patrol report, a 26-year-old Copalis Beach woman was southbound on State Route 109 at Hogans Corner and attempted to take a left, failing to yield to a northbound vehicle driven by a 64-year-old Belfair man. The Belfair man’s vehicle was struck and rolled into a vehicle parked in the Hogans Corner gas station parking lot.

The Copalis Beach woman and a 58-year-old Lynnwood woman, who was a passenger in the parked vehicle, were taken to Harbor Regional Health Community Hospital with undisclosed injuries.

According to the State Patrol, the Copalis Beach woman is facing charges, including failure to yield, driving with a suspended license and operating a vehicle with no title.
