Your Daily World, like most aspects of our society right now, is going to be a little different for the time being.
Most noticeably, we’re reducing it to one section. Since the collective sports world is on the bench, we’re dropping the sports pages for now. If there is important sports news, we’ll make room in the main section. And we’ll be running lots of stories from our sports wire at thedailyworld.com. And, as always, lots of news stories we don’t have room for in print pages, will be on the website.
Like most of you, our goal is to continue doing the essential until things are back to normal. It means covering the stories of how our neighbors and institutions are responding — the inspirational, the aggravating and the just plain interesting. If there are stories you want us to know and information you want to share, email us at newsroom@thedailyworld.com. As in your lives, developments are happening faster than we can keep up with them. We can use your help, so please drop us an email and we’ll get to all the stories we can.
Our office is closed to the public and only the bare minimum of employees are working in the office, while most are working from home.
We’re absolutely committed to bringing you the news and information you need to know in order to make decisions for you and your family. There’s not much normal about any of this, but normal will be back at some point and we’ll be with you when it gets here.
