It wasn’t graduation as usual by any stretch of the imagination, but at least Hoquiam High School’s Class of 2020 got to walk with their immediate families through Olympic Stadium to pick up their diplomas Monday.

The proceedings were videoed, along with a similar event Tuesday with honor graduates and speeches. The graduation will be aired June 19 at 7 p.m., according to the high school. Stay informed at the high school’s Facebook page, https://www.facebook.com/hoquiamhs/.

Students and their immediate families arrived at the stadium and were given a number. The students were called, and they and their immediate families entered the stadium; students picked up their diplomas while their families watched and photos were taken.
