Suspected burglary at Aberdeen Sprint store

Aberdeen Police officers are investigating a suspected burglary that occurred early Saturday morning on East Wishkah Street.

Just before 2 a.m., officers were dispatched to a report of burglary at the Sprint Store in the 1100 Block of East Wishkah Street.

Upon arrival, officers discovered a large window that appeared to be broken out with a shopping cart. An unknown amount of product was stolen. There was red spray paint graffiti on one of the intact windows, and no suspects were located.

Approximately 14 minutes later, officers were dispatched to a similar call where the caller reported red spray paint graffiti to a parked vehicle, where no suspect was located.

Officers are reviewing video surveillance from the area to attempt to identify the suspects and determine if the burglary and the vehicle spray painted with graffiti are related.

The department asks that if anyone from that area has footage they feel is useful, they call the non-emergency dispatch number at 360-533-8765 and ask to speak to the on-duty officer in charge.
