Sunday Afternoon Live

Sunday Afternoon Live’s last concert of the season, featuring The Special Consensus, is scheduled for 3 p.m. Sunday, May 15, at the Raymond Theatre.

The bluegrass band that features a banjo, guitar, bass and mandolin player has been performing over four decades touring throughout the United States, Australia, Canada, Europe, South America, Ireland and United Kingdom. The band has also appeared on National Public Radio, The Nashville Network, the Grand Ole Opry at historic Ryman Auditorium in Nashville, Tennessee, and in concert with symphony orchestras nationwide.

According the their website “Special Consensus’ sound is grounded in a deep appreciation and understanding of bluegrass music; the infectious band sound reminds people of the past while utilizing the innovations of today.”
