The Summit Pacific Medical Center $55 million expansion is well underway in Elma, with a target date of a grand opening for either winter 2025 or spring 2026.
The hospital expansion is financed through revenue bonds, offering multiple advantages, including no increase in taxes.
The exterior windows are now installed, and you can catch a glimpse of the progress as you pass by. The exterior walls are shaping up with siding and insulation going up, inside and out. The roof is almost finished, and this week’s clear skies are perfect for staying on track.
Inside, wall framing is up, and crews are busy installing electrical, mechanical, plumbing and fire protection systems.
The hospital, Urgent Care, and Emergency Department remain open for medical needs during this process.
