Still slots open for Friday mass vaccination site first dose clinic

Many other vaccination options available now across the county

Wednesday morning there were still more than 600 slots open for the COVID-19 vaccination first dose clinic at the mass vaccination site at the Port of Grays Harbor Friday.

Grays Harbor Public Health public information officer Maranatha Hay reminds that, as of Thursday, all residents age 16 and older are eligible for the vaccine. However, the Friday clinic is for those age 18 and older.

“The vaccine we will be administering is Moderna, and it is for those who are 18 years of age and above,” she said. Sign up for this clinic at healthygh.org/covid19-vaccine-appointment; this is also the site when future clinics tentatively scheduled for next week will be posted.

This isn’t the only place to get a vaccine, said Hay.

“If this date/time does not work for some, there are many other appointments available right now, with other providers in Grays Harbor County,” she said. You can find these appointments by using Washington State’s Vaccine Locator, vaccinelocator.doh.wa.gov/, and entering your zip code.
