Attention writers of poetry, fiction, romance, gothic, nonfiction, memoirs, journals or any other category.

Beginning in August, the South Beach Writers Group will resume meeting the second Wednesday of each month. The get-togethers are planned for 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Westport VFW with discussions of triumphs and failures, publishing experiences and serious critiquing — when requested.

Coffee and bottled water will be provided, and writers are encouraged to bring their own lunch, as well as paper and pencils.
