Sidor sworn in as Aberdeen animal control officer

Aberdeen Police Chief Steve Shumate swore in the department’s new Animal Control Limited Code Enforcement Officer Kris Sidor Feb. 6.

Sidor has been with the department as the Animal Control Shelter Custodian for 20 years, according to a statement from Aberdeen Police Lt. Dale Green.

She will attend an 80-hour Washington State Criminal Justice Training Commission Animal Control Officer class in March.
