Shoalwater Bay Casino in Tokeland to close for renovations

TOKELAND — Shoalwater Bay Casino will be closed for the month of April as it undergoes renovations.

“We’re excited about all the changes taking place,” said General Manager Johnny Winokur. “We’re updating the entire gaming floor with 300 slots, a new lounge with a state-of-the-art Bottoms Up draft beer dispensing system and a whole lot more.”

“The Smoke ’N Spirits shop will remain open throughout April,” Winokur added, “and folks can follow our progress on Facebook.”

The casino’s grand reopening ceremony will take place May 1.
