A 40-year-old Ocean Shores man was killed in a one-vehicle wreck on State Route 109 north of Ocean Shores on Monday night.

The State Patrol reports a 37-year-old Ocean Shores woman was driving northbound on State Route 109 at milepost 24 just before 11:30 p.m. Approaching a corner, the 1995 Nissan pickup left the roadway and struck a tree, totaling the truck.

The passenger, Ryan Wilkinson, died at the scene. The driver, a 37-year-old Ocean Shores woman, was injured and transported to Harbor Regional Health Community Hospital. The wreck is under investigation.
