Molina Healthcare of Washington, Sea Mar Community Health Centers and Swanson’s Foods are distributing 250 free bags of healthy foods Saturday from 10 a.m. to noon at Swanson’s, 217 N. Boone St. in south Aberdeen.

Food bags will have items including green beans, canned fruit, wheat bread, spaghetti sauce, canned fruit, tuna and pasta.

Molina Healthcare said the giveaway is part of an effort to encourage the community to embrace healthy eating habits. The event is the first of a series of similar giveaways in the Grays Harbor area, with dates and locations to be announced soon.
