Grays Harbor mayors to forecast 2019 plans at luncheon

Looking to forecast new and old plans for 2019, nine mayors from around Grays Harbor will convene at their annual forum on Jan. 22, titled “Lunch with the Mayors”.

Hosted by Greater Grays Harbor Inc., the event will run from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Jan. 22, a Tuesday, at the Rotary Log Pavilion in Aberdeen.

Attendees will hear directly from the elected officials, who will provide updates from their community and discuss upcoming priorities for 2019. Dru Garson, Greater Grays Harbor CEO, said there will likely be 5 to 10 minutes for each mayor to speak, and following that would be a Q&A session.

Officials include: Aberdeen Mayor Erik Larson; Carl Sperring standing in for Cosmopolis Mayor Frank Chestnut; Elma Mayor Jim Sorenson; Hoquiam Mayor Jasmine Dickhoff; McCleary Mayor Brenda Orffer; Montesano Mayor Vini Samuel; Oakville Mayor Keith Francis; Ocean Shores Mayor Crystal Dingler; Westport Mayor Rob Bearden.

To attend, tickets are $20 for Greater Grays Harbor members, and $25 for non-members. Lunch is provided by Aloha Alabama, and is included with admission. Reservations are required by Wednesday, Jan. 16.
