Students of Grays Harbor College headed to Sierra Pacific Industries in Aberdeen for an on-site log scaling practice with Instructor Patrick Mahoney and an SPI Crew. Log scaling is measuring cut trees to determine the volume and quality of the wood before it’s manufactured.
