Grays Harbor College announces top grads

These Grays Harbor College students have earned their associate degrees with perfect 4.0 GPAs.

These Grays Harbor College students all received their associate degrees Friday with perfect 4.0 GPAs. Many of them are Running Start students who also are graduating with honors from their respective high schools.

The college’s virtual graduation ceremony was streamed online and will remain available to view anytime at ghc.edu/graduation.

Erica Bomhoff

Erica earned her Associate of Arts and plans on transferring to the Evergreen State College.

Lily Darrin

Lily earned her Associate of Arts from GHC as a Running Start student at Hoquiam High School, where she is graduating as a co-valedictorian. At HHS, she was in the Drama Club and Marching Band. Lily plans on transferring to the University of Washington.

Eric Eng

Eric is completing his Associate of Arts as Running Start student at Aberdeen High School, where he also is a co-valedictorian. He intends to transfer to the University of Washington’s College of Engineering this fall.

William Gross

William is receiving his Associate of Arts. He played on the Chokers baseball team and plans on attending the University of Puget Sound to further his academic and athletic career.

Melissa May

Melissa has earned her Associate of Arts as a Running Start student from Aberdeen High School, where she is graduating as a co-valedictorian. She plans on attending the South Dakota School of Mines and Technology, majoring in mechanical engineering.

Shelby Michelbrink

Shelby is getting her Associate of Arts from GHC, where she participated in the annual Student Art Exhibition. She plans on transferring to a four-year college to pursue a degree in art.

Britney Patrick

Britney has earned her Associate of Arts as a Running Start student from Willapa Valley High School, where she played volleyball, basketball, and softball. She plans on transferring to St. Martin’s University to earn a degree in business administration and play softball.

Kaycee Radke

Kaycee is receiving her Associate of Arts. She plans to transfer to the University of Puget Sound to earn a degree in business.

Emma Tarrence

Emma is getting her Associate of Arts. She plans on transferring to Western Washington University this fall.

Robert Thomas

Robert has earned his Associate of Science from GHC, where he spent a lot of time on the Bishop Center stage. He plans to transfer to the University of Washington to study physics and computer science, then work toward a Ph.D. in physics.

Gracie Thomsen

Gracie is receiving her Associate of Arts as a Running Start student from Hoquiam High School, where she was a “band overachiever” and is graduating as a co-valedictorian. She plans on earning a bachelor’s degree in environmental science from the University of Washington.
