Flood watch in effect through Sunday morning

The National Weather Service says a Flood Watch continues for Portions of northwest Washington and west central Washington, including the following counties, in northwest Washington, Clallam, Grays Harbor, Jefferson, Kitsap, Mason, Skagit, and Whatcom Through Sunday morning. The same is true in west central Washington, King, Lewis, Pierce, Snohomish, and Thurston..

Rainfall so far has been 2 to 5 inches over the Olympics, 1 to 3 inches over the Cascades, and up to an inch on the lowlands. The second round will move back into the area starting after midnight Friday. Rivers are rising and additional rivers will likely reach flood stage as later Friday evening.
