Grays Harbor County Emergency Management will host a community Personal Preparedness Forum at the Hoquiam Timberland Library at 6 p.m. today and other libraries in coming months.

Risks and hazards to the local area will be discussed as well as what can be done to reduce the impact of any events upon the community, home and family.

Additional forums will be held throughout the county at the following Timberland Libraries:

• Tuesday, Feb. 7, in Elma

• Tuesday, Feb. 21, in Aberdeen

• Wednesday, March 8, in Amanda Park

• Thursday, March 23, in McCleary

• Tuesday, April 25, in Montesano

• Thursday, May 4, in Oakville

• Tuesday, May 23, in Westport.

The Ocean Shores forum is scheduled for Tuesday, April 4, at the Ocean Shores Library.
