The Elma School Board will hold a special meeting it hopes will take the district one step closer to having a new sports stadium.

At 6 p.m. Wednesday, the board will meet to take action on the creation of a website to communicate the stadium plans with the public. The meeting is at the East Grays Harbor Transportation Cooperative, 1221 Monte-Elma Road in Elma.

“In May, the board approved a group to create a plan to take to the voters,” Superintendent Kevin Acuff said. “And part of the plan was create a website.”

The website will be used to share information during development of plans for the stadium.

The public is invited to attend the meeting to find out more about the project.
