Seattle man injured when semi trailer flips on SR 7
A 46-year-old Seattle man was injured Monday night when the semi tractor-trailer he was driving southbound at State Route 7 and Highway 101, south of Cosmopolis, rolled on to its side, blocking the roadway at least partially for about six hours. According to the Washington State Patrol, at 8:44 p.m. the driver attempted to stop at the stop sign and the trailer started to rock. The loaded trailer tipped to the left and flipped onto its left side in the northbound lane of State Route 107. The man was taken to Grays Harbor Community Hospital with minor injuries. The semi was totaled, and the Cimarron trailer that flipped over was damaged, according to the report. The cause of the accident is under investigation.
