Daily World subscribers who receive the paper in the mail are likely to see a delay in delivery of Wednesday’s paper because of the National Day of Mourning to observe the death of former president George H.W. Bush.
The delay is also likely to affect delivery of the weekly Vidette.
President Donald Trump proclaimed Dec. 5 a national day of mourning throughout the United States. Former president Bush passed away on Nov. 30 at the age of 94.
Most federal services will be curtailed on Wednesday. The Postal Service will suspend regular mail delivery and retail service, but provide limited package delivery service.
