Cranberry Fest

The 29th Annual Cranberry Fest in Grayland this weekend features lots of cranberries, of course, but also a harvest full of events.

The free festival takes place from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday, and 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Sunday, in the Grayland Community Hall, 2071 Cranberry Road.

Schedule of Events

• The Firefly Parade starts at 7:30 p.m. Saturday from the Grayland Community Hall parking lot. Check in starts at 6:30 p.m.

• Cranberry Bog Tours Saturday only starting at 10:30 a.m., noon, 1:30 p.m. and 3 p.m.

• A Cranberry Harvest Breakfast Saturday only from 8 to 11 a.m. at South Beach Christian Center, 1360 State Highway 105, Grayland.

Saturday

8 to 11 a.m. — Cranberry Harvest Breakfast at South Beach Christian Center, 1360 State Highway 105, Grayland.

10 a.m. — Start selling Bog Tour tickets

10 a.m. — Big Berry weigh-in begins and continues until 5 p.m.

10 a.m. to 5 p.m. — Cranberry marketplace and outside vendors open to the public

10:30 a.m. — First Bog Tour bus departs

11 a.m. to 4 p.m. — Jim Achilles live music on the outside grounds

Noon — Second Bog Tour bus departs

1:30 p.m. — Third Bog Tour bus departs

3 p.m. — Fourth Bog Tour bus departs

Sunday

10 a.m. to 3 p.m. — Cranberry marketplace and outside vendors open to the public

1:30 p.m. — Cranberry Eating Contest — How many raw berries can you eat?

2 p.m. — Big Berry winner announced and presented with trophy

2:30 p.m. — Drawing for the Weekend on the Cranberry Coast basket
