Changes to rules and eligibility for Covid-19 vaccinations have made the signup process for Grays Harbor’s mass vaccination site outdated so the county’s Incident Management Team has removed the signup intake form from the Web. There will be other options for signing up.
Almost 26,000 people filled in the intake form since it went up in January. Moving forward, the county will continue to schedule appointments off that list. After that list is exhausted, there will be links available on the county’s healthygh.org as mass vaccination clinics open up.
In announcing the decision, the Incident Management Team said it was made following the most recent changes to the vaccine distribution plan by the Washington State Department of Health. Changes cannot be made retroactively to form responses that have already been collected, which may hamper the IMT’s ability to schedule appointments to the correct people within their phases, the announcement said.
The form was taken off the website on Friday evening.
Meantime, the Incident Management Team has increased capacity to answer calls to its resource center. The Call Center number is (360) 964-1850 and it’s open Mon – Fri from 8:30 a.m. – 4 p.m. and Saturday, Sunday and holidays from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m.
