A 25-year-old Cosmopolis man was found dead early Friday morning by Cosmopolis Police Department officers responding to a shooting at an I Street residence.

Cosmopolis Police Chief Casey Stratton said a 49-year-old Cosmopolis woman was detained for questioning in the incident.

Cosmopolis police and Grays Harbor County Sheriff’s Office deputies were still investigating Friday morning. No arrests had been made at that time.
