A 33-year-old Aberdeen transient was arrested in downtown Aberdeen Monday after breaking out several vehicle and business windows.
Shortly before noon, Aberdeen Police were dispatched to the 600 block of East Heron Street to reports of a subject throwing rocks at windows.
“Officers arrived and located the suspect as multiple additional victims and witnesses were calling to report more broken windows in the area,” said Aberdeen Police Commander Dale Green. “The suspect was positively identified by witnesses and arrested for malicious mischief second degree.”
Several vehicle windows and business windows were smashed by large pieces of concrete. The suspect was booked into the Aberdeen city jail on the felony charge for the property damage
